64 bit. FYI: By uninstalling everything todo with MySQL, and all supporting libs and then reinstalling, the issue was resolved. [Bug 577379] [NEW] mysql command line broken (relocation error)
Public bug reported: Attempting to run mysql from the command line results in: mysql: relocation error: mysql: symbol strmov_overlapp, version libmysqlclient_16 not defined in file libmysqlclient.so.16 with link time reference And it doesn't run.
