[Bug 1081245] Re: Ubuntu 13.04 Live-CD Installer hangs
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1080701 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1080701 atarixle has a working solution. When the installer "hangs", open a root term and kill all process that come up with the command #ps aux | grep part The installer will then through up an error dialog. Click on the "Retry" button and prepare for joy. Kudos to you, atarixle. na5m -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1081245 Title: Ubuntu 13.04 Live-CD Installer hangs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubiquity/+bug/1081245/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 180940] blank screen after install hardy heron alpha 2 amd64
Public bug reported: Installation goes well. Upon first reboot, immediately after selecting Hardy Heron from the grub menu, the screen goes blank. Even the back-light is off :( Ctrl+Alt+Backspace doesn't do anything. Ctrl+Alt+Delete will allow rebooting. [Bug 180932] No scanner support hardy heron alpha 2
Public bug reported: The Hardy installation goes without a hitch. Got all of the updates, too. But when I plug in my Epson Perfection 1650 USB flatbed scanner, Hardy Heron doesn't acknowledge it. At all. Also, Kooka tells me that "No Scanner Was Found. Your System Does Not Provide a SANE installation. Please Install and Configure SANE correctly on your system." I was hoping for out-of-the-box scanner functionality. Hoping a solution is in the works :) Hardy Heron Kubuntu alpha 2 i386 HP Pavilion laptop dv9640us NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS Dual Centrino processor 4GB ram 2 150GB hard drives ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- No scanner support hardy heron alpha 2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/180932 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
