Hi phenest. No that is not the case with this one. The shortcuts work fine. But when some menu is opened, at that time none works. Like if u open lil menu which increase or decrease volume. Public bug reported: Hello, I am testing Ubuntu Intrepid Alpha 5 on my hp nx6325 and hp nc8430. I am having this issue with shortcut keys. Whenever i click on applications(or places, system etc.) to open up the menu, and with the menu still opened, i couldn't use shortcut keys. Like for instance i can't enable or disable wireless, Mute and unmute or increase and decrease volume. I faced this issue with previous releases as well but i thought it was the problem with my laptop nx6325. But i noticed this happens with other laptops as well. So maybe it is a bug. I will like to learn more about it.
