I had very long or hung "Processing Job" on the HP LaserJet 4000 while HPLIP reported "Job Completed." hp-doctor reported everything is fine. Linuxmint 18 64-bit on Thinkpad T400.
Someone suggested change driver from Postscript to PCL or vice versa.
