[Bug 1310049] Re: Invalid Python Output in Trusty
I can confirm that downgrading lsdvd to precise works. I just don't get how something as fundamental and popular as ripping a dvd can be completely broken in a LTS release and nobody has any intention of fixing it. I terribly confused. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1310049 Title: Invalid Python Output in Trusty To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/acidrip/+bug/1310049/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 160311] Re: Resizing windows by grabbing window borders is difficult
I recently installed xubuntu 12.04 and the 1px thing makes it impossible for me. I've always had problems with window borders, I'm spazzy with the mouse, but until now I've always been able to configure it larger. But with 12.04, I've tried everything. I've changed the metacity-theme-1.xml file, somebody told me the size was based on the actual png image, so I changed all of those. Others have said try a different theme. I've done that plenty too. I'm a programmer, I get it, I'm willing to do whatever, but how can I actually go about changing the border width? I don't need you guys to change the defaults or make a pretty UI to make it configurable (though that would be nice) just tell me the byte offset in what file I need to make it bigger and I will be happy to do it myself, but nothing I do works. [Bug 609507] Re: 10.04 crashes during boot with magic jack connected
For what it's worth I have the same problem. Ubuntu 9.04 was flawless with magic jack under vmware xp guest. I upgraded to 10.04 and the machine would boot fine, but as soon as gnome started up I'd get a kernel panic (keyboard lights flashing) 100 % of the time. As I had a raid0 drive that had to recover every time I booted it didn't give me much opportunity to look for problems in the logs, the one time I did get a shell nothing in kernel or dmesg or anything. I gave up installed 10.10 from scratch. Now it's random, but 10.10 works flawlessly until I plug in the magic jack then when I run the vm to talk to it, machine freezes up. Now I have no phone. :-( Any info I can give you lemme know. -- 10.04 crashes during boot with magic jack connected https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/609507 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
