[Bug 1217959] Re: 'metadata' file not found when creating backup ("Could not restore ‘/home/user /.cache/deja-dup/metadata’: File not found in backup"
I am affected by this bug with a current Xubuntu 16.04 LTS.
My ~/.cache is a symlink to a different SSD/partition if this matters.
Since ~/.cache/deja-dup filled up my root parition (before symlinking
it), I had to manually delete ~/.cache/deja-dup and the files in the
backup destination. Maybe this had some effect as well.

I get the very same behavior on my lenovo X200s using current 11.04. I am not sure if Xorg is the problem. It might be Unity.
