[Bug 1442908] Re: Realtek RTL8723BE wireless card drops connection in Linux kernel 3.19.0-13
Hey guys. I reported this bug for Kubuntu 15.05 (see the first post), I wanted to let you know that I don't have the problem anymore, I'm running the latest Linux kernel available using regular updates. The problem seems to be fixed, at least for me. Let me know if you want me to post some configuration about my system (let me know which command should I run). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1442908 Title: Realtek RTL8723BE wireless card drops connection in Linux kernel 3.19.0-13 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1442908/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 424499] Re: rhythmbox does not set IM status in empathy
Yes, I confirm the bug, but I have more info.If I open Rhythmbox and I activate the plugin the music info appears in Empathy and works. But If I close Rhythmbox or Empathy ( one of them ) and then I try to test again the music info will not appear in Empathy. In order to fix that I need to disable plugin in Rhythmbox and close it, then open it again and enable the plugin. To Resume, if you enable the plugin in Rhythmbox will work but if you close it or restart the machine you will need to do all the enable/disable plugin process again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/424499 Title: rhythmbox does not set IM status in empathy To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/rhythmbox/+bug/424499/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 507305] Re: Unable to slow mouse sufficiently
Hi, just to let you know, finally I resolve slow mouse problem, this solution applies in Kubuntu 10.04 LTS version 32 and 64 bits, also applies to ubuntu 10.04 and 11.04. For my Dell computer: Dell Inspiron 15 (C15P32_225LCO), AMD Athlon II Dual-Core Mobile P340 (2.2 GHz), Mem 2GB DDR3, 250GB HD. video ATI Mobility Radeon HD4250. You just need to download from ATI web site the latest drivers. selecting the drivers for ATI Mobility Radeon HD4250 you will get a .sh file ati-...sh, to avoid problems you can reboot your computer and enter as ubuntu (failsafe) then enter as a root to the console, and run the .sh file. Reboot your computer and you will get the mouse working correctly and video working smoothly -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/507305 Title: Unable to slow mouse sufficiently -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 771633] Re: [Natty] Realtek ALC888 0x10ec0888 - mic not functional
Hi Lucio. I only want to say that now my microphone is working. After several time I discover that the problem was alsamixer. Scenario: When I installed the new Ubuntu 11.04 I discovered that my microphone wasn't working. The first thing that I did was to change the settings of sound preferences in the sound icon in the top bar. After that my microphone didn't work yet. So I decided to modify alsamixer. In alsamixer I was wonder why I had only a few options, when in other versions of ubuntu I had more..After long time of research I discover that using TAB button I can get the other options in Alsamixer and I discovered finally my capture bar. I put my capture bar in 100 and now I have my microphone working. So I guess was my faultbut I'm not a new user, think about hundreds of non tech users..it will be very hard to discover that. Sorry for my english is not very good, I know.just to let you know I'm using NVIDIA video card and NVIDIA recommender private drivers.
