Public bug reported: Crashed late in the installation on new formated external hard drive [500gb]. When trying to install on a new laptop. N.B. Tried with two downloaded copies of 12.04 beta with no luck. Bought a new disk from newsagents of 12.04 and this is what crashed, it had not partioned the drive when trying a fresh install to the internal H/D so was trying to install from inside windows [7] onto an external H/D when the problem occured. [Bug 31104] Re: launches logout dialog on resume
I have an up-to-date Feisty (dist-upgrade from Edgy). If logout dialog appear on power button event and choose "Hibernate" I get this same dialog when resuming. Of course I get blank screen to unlock just before. But I think I known why : Two logout dialog appear when pushing power button. My laptop is Dell 640m. So, It's not a GPM bug, but a bug of this logout dialog. It should not accept his own duplication. -- launches logout dialog on resume https://launchpad.net/bugs/31104 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
