[Bug 863154] Re: Wacom Bamboo One tablet random coordinate malfunctions
Are all of you having this problem not only in GIMP but also in the desktop? Try moving a window with your wacom stylus. When you let go of the window, does it jump across the screen? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/863154 Title: Wacom Bamboo One tablet random coordinate malfunctions To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gimp/+bug/863154/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 863154] Re: Wacom Bamboo One tablet random coordinate malfunctions
In theory, you might be able to downgrade them using Synaptic and the force version option, but there's a very strong possibility that would cause everything to stop working altogether. But we've already got 20 people on this bug... we should really try to get someone assigned to this if possible. Like some of you, I am a professional artist who uses GIMP, so I have to do my work on a spare computer not running Oneiric until this problem is fixed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/863154 Title: Wacom Bamboo One tablet random coordinate malfunctions To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gimp/+bug/863154/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 863154] Re: Wacom Bamboo One tablet random coordinate malfunctions
Also, I think we should update this bug to reflect that it isn't a GIMP bug, but a GTK bug. There's a little more information here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=661872 Basically, since it goes away if you disable the input events in GIMP, and since it affects the desktop too, it can't be a GIMP-specific bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/863154 Title: Wacom Bamboo One tablet random coordinate malfunctions To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gimp/+bug/863154/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 863154] Re: Wacom Bamboo One tablet random coordinate malfunctions
I've had this bug too, since upgrading to Oneiric. I also get this bug on a clean install of Oneiric. Not only does it happen in Gimp, but if I drag the stylus on the desktop as well -- to select files on the desktop for example -- it jumps to the corner and selects all of the items. Likewise, if I try to drag a window using the stylus, it jumps and takes the window nearly off of the screen.
[Bug 569378] Re: pulseaudio multicast audio becomes inaudible
I also have had this bug since 8.04, and it still exists in Ubuntu 10.10. When using RTP Multicast to send music from Banshee in addition to Microphone output over Skype, the other user receives the sound with no problems at all. However, on the sending computer's end, using the loopback module, the sound speeds up, slows down, skips, and/or changes pitch dramatically. This happens no matter what audio thread is sent through the loopback. Basically, the loopback module is useless while this problem exists. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/569378 Title: pulseaudio multicast audio becomes inaudible -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 298707] Re: wacom tablet stylus input jumps to next screen prematurely in dual monitor set-up
This bug still exists in Karmic as well. TwinView works just fine when using wacomcpl to adjust the stylus to match the screen. However, with Separate X Screens there is no way to make it work. I agree that saying Just use TwinView is not a valid solution. I've used TwinView for a while, and I am overall unhappy with it. [Bug 154418] Re: repository version much slower than website version
Yeah, same problem for me. The downloaded version runs perfectly, but the version I got from Synaptic runs painfully slow, and doesn't even play many of the tracks correctly. Any chance the version in the package manager can be updated? This is a great game, and just install it from the website isn't really a satisfactory answer.
