I already added the steps to reproduce, here they are again in more detail. Do you need me to specify on anything else? Could it maybe be the server? 1. Open up evolution 2. Look at the current folders that are showing. 3. Give angry look at folders that are showing in the side bar but aren't supposed to. 3. Check my subscribed folders to confirm that the currently showing folders are unchecked. 1.Yes it is reproducible. It resets every time I open Evolution. 2.Open up evolution. Look at my folders that are showing but shouldn't be. And then check my subscribed folders to confirm that the currently showing folders are unchecked. This should not change from session to session. What Happens: folders can be hidden by unchecking a folder under subscriptions, or rechecking then unchecking a folder that is already hidden. But after restarting, all folders will show up regardless of whether they are checked or unchecked. All righty. Step by step starting without LASH. (Without Jack started) Start up seq24-0.8.7 that was installed with distro. Start up ZynAddSubFX (also installed with distro - dunno what version, guessing the latest) Open song editor in seq24 and add a track. Select ZynAddSubFX midi bus. Press piano key (in track editor) to test sound - hear sound. Add events to track editor and hit play, also set loop to 1 measure. Plays events and loops just fine. After installing lashd 0.5.4-0ubuntu2 and lash-bin 0.5.4-0ubuntu2 Start seq24 Start Zyn open song editor in seq24 and add track Select Zyn midi bus. Press piano key in track editor to test sound again - hear sound. Add events to track editor and set to loop one measure. Errr... k plays everything fine now. But i did just set memlock and got rt to work which wasn't working when this occurred. Gonna try to reproduce without the rt/memlock settings added. [Bug 232341] [NEW] seq24 sequencer does not loop or send events
Public bug reported: I noticed the bug when i first installed lash. Seq24 would not play through the loops in the song. Then I got it to appear to play through the song when I tweaked some jack settings in it, but it wouldn't loop, and still wouldn't play sequencer events.
