[Bug 207938] [NEW] prism-gmail new mail notification popup should be optional
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: prism-google-mail There is a notification popup that says "You have new email; you have ### unread emails" that is apparently built into the Gmail Prism app which is in the repositories for Ubuntu Heron. It's very annoying because there is no setting to turn it off, it appears too often to be useful, gives useless information ("You have 30426 unread emails"), and it makes it impossible to access part of the desktop until it slides down. I can't find any options or preferences for this Prism app. Ubuntu version: "This version (Hardy Heron) was released in April 2008 so its version number is 8.04." ** Affects: prism (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- prism-gmail new mail notification popup should be optional https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/207938 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 95329] Re: Rhythmbox doesn't allow horizontal resizing of the window when loaded
I have this problem in Dapper; here's a piece of info I haven't seen in this thread: It seems to be the case that the resizeability depends on the length of the title of what is being played. On this particulary (highly recommended, hehe) web radio stream, the title is very long: (#2) SomaFM: Drone Zone (128k mp3): Served best chilled, safe with most medications. Atmospheric textures with minimal beats. http://somafm.com/dronezone.pls If I run that url, Rhythmbox refuses to shrink (looks like the screenshot above). If I switch to something with a short title, resizing is ok. -- Rhythmbox doesn't allow horizontal resizing of the window when loaded https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/95329 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
