[Bug 141404] Re: No user authentication coming back from suspend
It is unclear if this particular problem still exists as I can no longer suspend to RAM or disk using a 2.6.22 kernel. I have reported this as a bug as well. I am not experiencing (and as far as I recall have never experienced) the authentication failure returning from suspend under 2.6.20. Let me know if there's anything else you need to know. [Bug 151857] Suspend [to ram or disk] fails on Latitude D810
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22 Suspend to ram and to disk fail on Latitude D810. Both result in Ubuntu going through the standard suspend procedure and blanks the screen, however, the fans continue to spin and the power light does not indicate that the suspend succeeded. Magic SysRq keys and the power button are the only ways to recover from this.
