Either it is not listed in lsusb output or it won't work at all in "Cheese" 
webcam software.
Only in one out of ten trials I got video working in Cheese by unplugging 
webcam and trying it in another usb port.

Yes, this happens consistently. Where is nothing new written to
/var/log/syslog, but top shows very high cpu usage by Xorg process,
around 80% if I simply click on various available layouts.

I think this is related to xfce4-xkb-plugin running in panel.

When I reboot from Xubuntu 12.10 to Windows 7 I loose headphone sound in
Windows. I checked the volume levels and even reinstalled Realtek audio
drivers in Windows, but nothing has helped so far. Only workaround is to
shutdown notebook from Xubuntu 12.10 rather than rebooting directly to
Windows.

For some reason, no profile causes crashes anymore.

I've got "1.v2", "this1234.v2" and "1234.v2".
