Re: [Bug 996440] Re: Getting invalid value while performing fractional operation in programming mode

2012-05-08 Thread pradeep
Hi Gauri,

This is my suggestion to have a help file for any calci
application.Because I really felt difficult to understand certain
operations. Regarding this fractional component I tried to perform
improper fraction (i.e) 2*(2/5) ,where I suppose to get 12/5=2.4.

[Bug 63139] Re: Invest doesn't work with Edgy

2006-09-30 Thread Pradeep
You can access it's menu by right clicking on the 'grey coloured' area
of the applet.

That would have the options 'Refresh' 'Preferences'. Through
'Prefereces' you can set watch on different stock rates.

I have attached the screenshot.

[Bug 63523] Re: EDGY Menu management: hard to move items up and down

2006-10-02 Thread Pradeep
I tried it here. It's 'Menu Layout' in English.

>From what I observed, the selection doesn't disappear. The highlight is
lost. But if you click on the move up /down button *a few seconds later*
it does move the selected item.

So it's like, It gets locked for a few seconds after the first move
up/down (during when another click would do nothing).

So, it is a bug. Can you please confirm this behaviour?

[Bug 63733] Re: Bug in aisleriot 2.16.1 (ten across)

2006-10-03 Thread Pradeep
The help for Ten Cross(About -> Ten Cross) shows this:

Temporary Spots:
Locations to place one card out of play. The spots begin the game
filled. One version of the game does not allow you to put new cards into these
spots once they are empty.

3.68.4. Options
No Use Temporary Spots: If checked the temporary spots may not be
reused.
---

Not sure I follow what it's trying to say but there is no option to
check or uncheck temporary slots.

Since the temporary slots are not usable atm, I'm confirming this.

[Bug 548992] Re: Wireless connection frequently drops [deauthenticating by local choice (reason=3)]

2010-10-27 Thread Pradeep
I recently upgraded my Ubuntu from 10.04 to 10.10. It looked great at first,
but now its hurting me. Problem is I am loosing connection to my wireless
connection at home frequently. Well restart of the system fixes the problem and
I loose it after 10 minutes or so. These are the things are I tried:
1) Remove the wireless connection entry from the list and enter the wifi
password again and reconnect.
This works for a while and again the same story, I loose connection. If i
repeat the same thing next time it does not work.

Let me know if you need more details on this? Or a specific command to
run which would help to investigate the issue here.
