[Bug 457912] Re: Firefox Page Setup has no Margin/Headers tab
It's a shame this bug is still open after such a long time. Page setup worked fine in older versions of Firefox, but I read somewhere that this change was introduced for compatibility with Gnome standards. If that's true, it may very well be compatible, but obscure standards are of no help to people trying to simply adjust the headers/footers/margins for printing from the browser. -- Firefox Page Setup has no Margin/Headers tab https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/457912 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 550625] Re: Alps touchpad is recognized but synaptics clients and scrolling do not work
Tested Andrew's psmouse.ko (see #152) on my E6410 (i5, Intel video) with standard Ubuntu kernel 2.6.32-24-generic. Scrolling is enabled and suspend-resume works (with the known inconvenience that the machine resumes with a very dim screen -- workaround: increase screen brightness manually). Thanks to Andrew for the great work. -- Alps touchpad is recognized but synaptics clients and scrolling do not work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/550625 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 550625] Re: Alps touchpad is recognized but synaptics clients and scrolling do not work
Unfortunately, Øyvind Stegard's module in #141 is not compatible with the patched version of 2.6.32-24-generic (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/578673/comments/65) created by Manoj to address the E6410 Intel video card suspend/resume Bug #578673. Upon resume, the mouse becomes erratic and unusable. So, I can either scroll or suspend but not both :-(. -- Alps touchpad is recognized but synaptics clients and scrolling do not work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/550625 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 550625] Re: Alps touchpad is recognized but synaptics clients and scrolling do not work
Sorry, in comment #143 I should have said Andrew Skalski's module in #140 instead of Øyvind Stegard's module in #141. [Bug 550625] Re: Alps touchpad is recognized but synaptics clients and scrolling do not work
I did the same as Øyvind Stegard in #141 to test the psmouse.ko posted by Andrew Skalski in #140 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/550625/+attachment/1488476/+files/psmouse.ko) on my Dell E6410. Touchpad scrolling is enabled. [Bug 578673] Re: [arrandale] Resume doesn't work on a Latitude E6410
Manoj's kernel in #81 works for me the same as described by Walter in #82. Re: [Bug 578673] Re: [arrandale] Resume doesn't work on a Latitude E6410
Henk's workaround worked fine for my Dell E6410 (with Intel HD video). Many thanks, Henk. Problem: it doesn't resume at all, it seems that suspend in a correct way but when i open the laptop trying to resume, i just get a black screen. I've been searching around launchpad and others related sites with no luck. I've already tested: - Turn off DRI at xorg.conf. No results. - Update xserver-xorg-video-intel to 2.11 (from ubuntu-x-swat ppa repository). Same problem. - I've tried 2.6.31-10-rt from official ubuntu repositories with the same result. - Also, I've tried 2.6.33, 2.6.34-rc6 and 2.6.34-rc7 from kernel ppa but it seems that my laptop freeze on start with all of these kernels.
