[Bug 401402] Re: Package eclipse has unmet dependencies
The workaround removes the tuxguitar package. I received a suggestion from the Ubuntu forums to download Eclipse directly from its website and install that way. Giving it a shot now. -- Package eclipse has unmet dependencies https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/401402 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 414148] [NEW] Suspend-Resume lags out pointer; reboot req'd
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager Upon resume from suspend the mouse experiences extreme latency, requiring a reboot to fix on a macbook4,1. Logging out and back in does not fix, unloading/reloading the module does not fix, restarting acpid does not fix. In the Ubuntu forums, there are other people having the same problem with no solution. ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Suspend-Resume lags out pointer; reboot req'd https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/414148 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 48671] Re: Cannot rename by clicking on a file
Wait, wait. I've used Gnome for about 10 years. The inclusion of a singular feature hardly makes it Windows. Referencing the hide-trash- icon served as an example of where to put the switch. You're assuming that I meant more than what I actually said. -- Cannot rename by clicking on a file https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/48671 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 48671] Re: Cannot rename by clicking on a file
Agreed. It's a usability modernization that never found its way into Gnome--and it's the expectation of users coming from Win/Mac. This should eclipse the personal preferences of people who already use Unbuntu and ojbect. A concession could be made by adding a disable switch in gconftool/gconf-editor--just like there's a switch for showing your trash on the desktop (which I'm glad is disabled by default). -- Cannot rename by clicking on a file https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/48671 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
