Hullo there... I've had the exact same problems as described in this bug report for the last few weeks... I recently upgraded from feisty to gutsy, but am pretty sure I had these problems even before the upgrade... I can't seem to be able to open the following options from the System -> Administration menu: 1. Network 2. Services 3. Shared Folders 4. Time and Date 5. Users and Groups The error message I get is: The configuration could not be loaded You are not allowed to access the system configuration I am able to run the rest of the options in the administration menu thoug. I am a member of the admin group too. I don't know why I'm being denied access to these options. Please do help me out.
