With Synaptic, I finally removed med-config. The problem is the failure was during upgrade from Hardy to Intrepid, and the keyboard is now broken. -- package med-config 0.17 failed to install/upgrade: el subproceso post-installation script devolvi? el c?digo de salida de error 255 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/310890 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 74703] Re: There is no way to install .pdb .prc files
Hi Fiona, I'd bet you have a problem with your pilot 'name'. See this post for an idea: http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg01061.html Good luck. -- There is no way to install .pdb .prc files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/74703 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 74703] Re: There is no way to install .pdb .prc files
Fiona, sorry for reacting this late. the Installing to MyPDA, no files to install message is likely due to the fact you can't access that file from the location you're firing gpilot-install-file from, check what the path to your file is, cd to that directory and then try the same command. You can also include the path to your file as in: gpilot- install-file --now /path/to/cupdate.pdb . Now, if you want to try something new, look for the folder on your desktop gpilot is using to backup your palm contents and drag the cupdate.pdb file there with your mouse. The file should get sent to the device in your next sync operation. I'm not sure this is the intended way of operation but I have come to realize this sometimes work. Good luck, let me know if you get it working. -- There is no way to install .pdb .prc files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/74703 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 178530] Re: hardy alpha2 PRO/Wireless 3945ABG does not work
I'm confirming this on hardy AMD/EMT64 updated to this date. Today I had this problem using WEP with a 802.11b router but haven't faced it with WEP on my regular 802.11g one. NetworkManager asks for the keyring passwd at session init and appears to associate correctly with the AP but the connection doesn't work. I currently don't have much details but will follow up as soon as I collect them (I have to get back to the same place tomorrow). Briefly: Card: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (rev 02) Module: Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG/BG Network Connection driver for Linux, version: 1.2.0 kernel: 2.6.24-8-generic #1 SMP Thu Feb 14 20:13:27 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux This could be related; I'm seen a lot of messages like this one on syslog: Feb 21 01:36:53 segfault-delly kernel: [ 354.019822] eth1: RX WEP frame with unknown keyidx 0 (A1=01:80:c2:00:00:00 A2=00:1a:70:58:dc:04 A3=00:1a:70:58:dc:04) (happens even with the _working_ WEP/802.11g combo) This sounds like related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/intellinuxwireless/+bug/190475 only that the problem here is not syslog getting filled with trash but the connection not working at all :-). Is there someone working on this? I'm of course willing to help getting this fixed. -- hardy alpha2 PRO/Wireless 3945ABG does not work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/178530 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 194117] [NEW] Freedesktop's backport of libdbus bindings to Qt3 needs packaging
Public bug reported: Its the only sane way of using dbus in Qt3 apps, some may think that using d-bus and or Qt3 isn't sane at all but d-bus is so abstracted that using it without its glib/qt bindings is out of the question for many. even discouraged by the very freedesktop guys.
