[Bug 1473596] [NEW] resume from suspend fails, works thereafter
Public bug reported: when I resume from suspend the system drops back to suspend before the display can fully come back up. if I then try a second time it works, but the wireless connection is dropped and can only be re-connected via the connect to hidden network option in unity's network manager. I had this problem previously in 15.04 and finding no solution I switched to 15.10 where the issue had resolved. since updating, presumably the kernel, the problem has resumed in 15.10. I will boot in to my most recent prior kernel and see if the problem persists. let me know any other information I can provide. yes that is correct. i had no issues with 14.04. i gave up though, i switched to a clean 15.10 and am having no issues now. i tried a clean 15.04 first but ran into a few issues installing/booting and decided if i was going to experience bugs they might as well benefit the alpha development. so thanks for your help anyway, it doesn't seem to be an issue for anyone else at the moment so your time is probably better spent elsewhere. :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1461320 Title: first resume fails after suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1461320/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

apport information ** Attachment added: "UdevDb.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1315575/+attachment/4105719/+files/UdevDb.txt ** Description changed: The new 3.13 kernel that came with kubuntu 14.04 creates some kind of issue with my internet connection. I get severe lag and stalled connections. I mostly noticed playing online games but also see package d/l progress pause/freeze during apt upgrades and sometimes my browser will not connect. The same day I upgraded there were no issues at all, now they are there. I found out it must be the kernel as i am currently using 3.11.0-19 and the issues have vanished. [Bug 902839] Re: left click and drag = eratic mouse movement
i have solved my problem, but created a new one :) i can now right/left click and also click and drag with perfection using the following code: Section "InputClass" Identifier "touchpad catchall" MatchIsTouchpad "on" MatchDevicePath "/dev/input/event*" Driver "synaptics" Option "SHMConfig" "on" Option "JumpyCursorThreshold" "150" EndSection in /usr/lib/X11/xorg.conf/10-synaptics.conf but unfortunately i can no longer scroll, and there are no longer any settings for scrolling or tap clicking in my mouse settings gui. also tap to click is no enabled but i don't know how to turn it off. ** Description changed: - i have installed 11.04 netbook ed. on my hp mini 210. everything is + i have installed 10.04 netbook ed. on my hp mini 210. everything is updated, as far as the update manger wants anyway. i tried the fix setting it up as a psmouse which worked sort of but then i could not scroll. so i reverted those changes. what is happening is when i left click and drag a second finger across the pad to move the cursor the mouse is all over the map, making it unusable. if i left click and simply drag that finger up or right, as those are my only options :) , that works fine. so it must be something with ignoring my clicking finger once the button is pressed. i thought i had it fixed setting the jumpy cursor thresh to about 200 but that seems to no longer be working, which is strange. any ideas? i also have hexxeh's chromium os lime 1308 build dual booted and the bug is present there as well. so it may have something to do with this silly hp trackpad. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/902839 Title: left click and drag = eratic mouse movement To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-synaptics/+bug/902839/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 902839] [NEW] left click and drag = eratic mouse movement
Public bug reported: i have installed 11.04 netbook ed. on my hp mini 210. everything is updated, as far as the update manger wants anyway. i tried the fix setting it up as a psmouse which worked sort of but then i could not scroll. so i reverted those changes. what is happening is when i left click and drag a second finger across the pad to move the cursor the mouse is all over the map, making it unusable. if i left click and simply drag that finger up or right, as those are my only options :) , that works fine. so it must be something with ignoring my clicking finger once the button is pressed. i thought i had it fixed setting the jumpy cursor thresh to about 200 but that seems to no longer be working, which is strange. any ideas?
