[Bug 1582979] Re: package linux-image-3.16.0-71-generic 3.16.0-71.92~14.04.1 failed to install/upgrade: run-parts: /etc/kernel/postinst.d/initramfs-tools exited with return code 1
When updating the process fails, a message comes and says the /boot is full, checked it and it is approx 99% full, it contains copies of a approx 20Mb size files and also copies of other multiple but smaller files, these files are all dated. This is a persistent fault. Cannot edit the /boot file as No Permission shows. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1582979 Title: package linux-image-3.16.0-71-generic 3.16.0-71.92~14.04.1 failed to install/upgrade: run-parts: /etc/kernel/postinst.d/initramfs-tools exited with return code 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/initramfs-tools/+bug/1582979/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
