[Bug 318676] Re: Network Manager hangs editing wireless connection
I am not sure , what cause it but with my b43 drivers in ubuntu 9.04 , I got a message about b43 not wanting to load wireless info etc , so I could not connect, then I fix my problem by using remastersys program, and making a dist iso file with the remastersys backup program , installed it into a 4GB usb drive using create a usb startup disk option , and reboot into it and reinstalled it seemed it fix the b43 driver not wanting to load with it before this was done it seemed to fix the wireless problem I was having with network-manager-gnome app, I don't know if that might fix your problem too maybe? -- Network Manager hangs editing wireless connection https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/318676 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

also note as of today crashing reporting in ubuntu 9.04 of gnome desktop is broken , it will not send info to bug report , I am guessing I am not the only one with this bug, it a update workout bug I think, I found a good way to somewhat keep new 9.04 somewhat stable for now , I can use my 4gb usb drive and remastersys program on ubuntu 9.04 to keep , things are going unstable , if it happens I can just restart with a backup of remastersys iso files, its a good idea anyway , it seems the easy way to keep things working in linux that might break -- python2.5 crashing on ubuntu tweak on ubuntu 9.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/318675 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
