[Bug 672572] Re: png in trash opens in firefox

2010-11-08 Thread rohit (drcooper)
Please check that default program that opens .png files is Image
Viewer command line being eog and not firefox. This can be done by
right click on the png file, open properties and check the Open With
tab.

And you are wrong to select the file using nautilus. You should use eog
to open the file. Nautilus is a file manager. eog is the image viewer.

[Bug 672548] Re: when I put in a chapter in LaTEX the pdf output writes chapitre

2010-11-08 Thread rohit (drcooper)
Chaptire is French for Chapter . I think it is an error in language
pack used in your Tex code. Definitely not an error in Document Viewer.
Setting it invalid for now.

[Bug 668699] Re: Pidgin doesn't recognise :p as a smilie

2010-10-30 Thread rohit (drcooper)
You can easily set this yourself.
Pidgin Buddy List Tools Custom Smileys

Add an entry
Image - /usr/share/pixmaps/pidgin/emotes/default/tongue.png
Shortcut text- :p

I think this is a case of personal choice. There might be instances one might
not need :p to be replaced by the smiley. Pidgin does provide a way to type
stick-out-your-toung smilie and to add custom smileys as mentioned.
As far as that holds I hold this bug is invalid.

You can always reopen the bug if you still feel it is a bug.

[Bug 654508] Re: Broadcom STA driver not listed in Jockey until after it's installed

2010-10-21 Thread rohit (drcooper)
The Broadcom STA device driver is for use with Broadcom's BCM4311-,
BCM4312-, BCM4313-, BCM4321-, and BCM4322-based hardware.

The network controller model as stated in lscpci.txt is BCM4306.

Hence I feel Jockey is right not to list the Broadcom STA driver.

Setting status to invalid for now.
