Please check that default program that opens .png files is Image Viewer command line being eog and not firefox. This can be done by right click on the png file, open properties and check the Open With tab. And you are wrong to select the file using nautilus. You should use eog to open the file. [Bug 654508] Re: Broadcom STA driver not listed in Jockey until after it's installed
The Broadcom STA device driver is for use with Broadcom's BCM4311-, BCM4312-, BCM4313-, BCM4321-, and BCM4322-based hardware. The network controller model as stated in lscpci.txt is BCM4306. Hence I feel Jockey is right not to list the Broadcom STA driver.
