[Bug 150690] Re: Can't drag a window to another workspace

2010-05-10 Thread sadfub
Yes allankelly, same here.. This is an essential desktop usability
issue! If you just try to drag the windows, the cursor changes, but then
still nothing is happening.

[Bug 71773] Re: Unable to run Yum in Edgy

2008-09-17 Thread sadfub
This bug is still unfixed in Hardy (8.04):

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$aptitude install yum
[...]
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ yum
There was a problem importing one of the Python modules
required to run yum. The error leading to this problem was:

   No module named cElementTree

Please install a package which provides this module, or
verify that the module is installed correctly.

It's possible that the above module doesn't match the
current version of Python, which is:

If you cannot solve this problem yourself, please send this
message to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.

but ATM I tested on Intrepid Ibex Alpha 5, and it seems to be ok... have
a look:

[Bug 219662] Re: Hardy - No network connectivity on fresh install

2008-09-15 Thread sadfub
I confirm this on my Eee 900A 8G after fresh install of Kubuntu 8.04,
but the workaround (shutdown and remove battery) doesn't worked.
"ifconfig -a" doesn't show any ethernet devices.

2008-09-14 Thread sadfub
I confirm this bug on Ubuntu 8.04. It has all worked since I made
recently some updates then I got this error message during boot. This
bug seemed to be reintroduced someway (regression)! Hoping that the
alias workaround will fix this.

Should I now retransmit this bug to translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu or
is this bug already redirected to it?

[Bug 254638] [NEW] german grep manpage differs from `grep --help` and english version of the grep manpage

2008-08-04 Thread sadfub
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: manpages-de

When using german manpages e.g. the option "-o" is not listed in the
manpage, but when typing "grep --help" it is. Clearly this is a
translation error cause the translation seems a little outdated. With
`LANG=C man grep` this option is listed. So there is a need for a newer
translation.

1)
Description:Ubuntu 8.04.1
Release:8.04

2) grep:
  Installed: 2.5.3~dfsg-3
  Candidate: 2.5.3~dfsg-3
  Version table:
 *** 2.5.3~dfsg-3 0
500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

3) Expected:
That on german systems the option "-o" is in the german manpage.

4) Actual:
The option is not listed in the german manpage but in the english version it
is, and in `grep --help` it is too.

** Affects: manpages-de (Ubuntu)

 Status: New
