[Bug 521046] Re: can't change audio using mouse wheel

2010-03-22 Thread sentvid
Iam Very Happy that its working now. But there was a tool tip in the
earlier versions of ubuntu, which shows the % volume. Its missing in the
latest version. Without the tool tip, Its not very friendly.

Please If possible bring back the tool tip.

[Bug 532633] Re: [light-theme] please revert the order of the window controls back to "menu:minimize, maximize, close"

2010-03-18 Thread sentvid
Initially I didn't like the design change either. But looking at other
design improvements, I decided to forget (forgive may be a strong word)
about the decision. previously I used Sidux and that came only with KDE.
Since I like gnome I had to install gnome.

I guess its just 3 clicks to change the button placement / change to a
different theme. I can see a lot of other people already released
"Radiance-right" themes.

Its just matter of time...People...Dont get too personal...

[Bug 159951] Re: tifm_ms: Unknown symbol tifm_has_ms_pif

2009-05-13 Thread sentvid
Hi pulpo88,
I am sure about your comment and availability of the module in the src. But so
far i couldnt succeed in compiling this module from source. Can you please help
us achieve what you have achieved. A small write up will be of great help.

I am able to get the src and modify .config...Also tried make menuconfig
to identify and enable Sony Memory Card Support. But make gives me
following error

make[1]: *** No rule to make target `kernel/bounds.c', needed by
`kernel/bounds.s'. Stop.
make: *** [prepare0] Error 2

Thanks in advance

[Bug 222557] Re: MemStick problem with card_reader (tifm)

2009-04-14 Thread sentvid
Hi,

tifm_ms.ko is not in the modules directory in jaunty, where as I suppose
it has to be there in
"/lib/modules/2.6.28-11-generic/kernel/drivers/memstick/host"

as per http://linux.sourcearchive.com/documentation/2.6.28-2.2
/tifm__ms_8c-source.html

May be there is some problem this driver got missed out.

Please help
