Thanks a lot for your reply. ls /usr/lib/mozilla extensions plugins ls /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins (nothing found here) and sorry for the other part (~/.mozilla/*.default/pluginreg.dat) I don't know where to find this file. Please tell me how to find it and I will get it attached here. I found this file under /home/alfayez/.mozilla/firefox/vkuuxfit.default (is this the one needed?) Thank you John but the flashplugin-nonfree has been previously removed using Synaptic Package Manager. I found the /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/flashplugin-alternative.so and removed it.
