[Bug 1834745] [NEW] openvpn dns leaks on 19.04
Public bug reported: I have resolvconf installed and when I visit dnsleaktest.com it shows I m using the dns vpn server yet if I iptables allow dns only on vpn interface , resolution fails. with wireshark I had confirmation that some queries were indeed sent-received from my ISP dns. this is consistent on many vpn servers from different vpn providers. ubuntu 19.04 openvpn: Installed: 2.4.6-1ubuntu3.1 openvpn should send all dns requests on the vpn interface (encrypted) it doesn t ,worse it fails to resolve anything if the firewall blocks all dns on non vpn interfaces. tried with openresolv instead resolvconf ,dns didn t t work. ** Affects: openvpn (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Information type changed from Private Security to Public ** Package changed: network-manager (Ubuntu) => openvpn (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1834745 Title: openvpn dns leaks on 19.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openvpn/+bug/1834745/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1776057] [NEW] package libgnutls30:amd64 3.5.18-1ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: package libgnutls30:amd64 is already installed and configured
Public bug reported: I started the upgrade process to Ubuntu 18.04, but the upgrade aborted midway during the installations because a number of packages could not be installed/upgraded for unknown reasons. There were several pop-up dialog boxes, one for each package that failed to install. The upgrade itself aborted, and when I restarted the system, my Ubuntu OS was broken and I could not login. I fired up the shell (Ctrl+Alt+F2) and ran "sudo apt --fix-broken install", followed by "sudo apt full-upgrade" and "sudo apt autoremove". Since all the packages were already downloaded, the three commands proceeded smoothly. Then when I rebooted, I was able to login to Ubuntu 18.04, so it seems like the upgrade was successful. But now I've gotten numerous crash dialog boxes ("Ubuntu has experienced an internal error"), one for each package that had failed to install during the upgrade process. One of them was "gnutls28". I am afraid that the system might still be broken here or there. [Bug 1240049] Re: multipath udev rules problem
As clearly mentioned in comment #13, multipathd is not working with the updated udev. We have identified this issue during testing at Netapp as well. None of the add/remove/change uevents are passed to multipathd and path mappings would be inconsistent when devices go away and rediscovered. Please updated the multipath-tools version to 0.5.0 so that it uses the libudev interface udev_monitor_new_from_netlink() instead of listening on udev socket. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1240049 Title: multipath udev rules problem To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/multipath-tools/+bug/1240049/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 276649] [NEW] Wifi issue with kernel updates 2.6.24-20 et +
Public bug reported: Since kernel updates 2.6.24-20 et +, I can't set the ATMEL USB driver at76_usb to the restricted mode. I can scan frequencies and find wifi spots but I can't connect to my wifi box as it requires WEP restricted key. Before these updates, so with kernel 2.6.24-19-generic, it works perfectly fine. I tried iwconfig wlan0 key restrected but it keeps the open mode anyway. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Wifi issue with kernel updates 2.6.24-20 et + https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/276649 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
