[Bug 1232873] Re: "could not back up files" dialog never shown; breaks scheduled backups

2016-08-12 Thread simon place
same here. ubuntu mate 15.10

waste of time.

i even had to check system monitor to find out this was called "Déjà
Dup" to be able to report this bug, but 3 years down the line still
being put in new systems, probably this is just more waste of my time.

[Bug 424888] Re: Brasero produces .toc files containing absolute paths when

2014-01-14 Thread simon place
reopening bug, because it effects me and has been incorrectly closed,
the description above is actually explicit and accurate.

absolute paths are just a mistake.

also the error messages and error log are unhelpful, problem deduced
from examining the toc file in an editor.

[Bug 1158529] Re: gvfsd-http memory leaks

2013-06-19 Thread simon place
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 760344 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/760344

i had gvfsd-http filling memory and bringing down system.

100% reproducible

investigation details;

using a browser divx avi totem plugin, and launching separate window
viewer using open in videos, the video fails to play, however gvfsd-
http/sh/pxgsettings continues to grow, downloading and caching in
memory? closing window and browser does not stop memory usage growing in
background.
