[Bug 1959740] [NEW] prefences and high scores aren't retained

2022-02-01 Thread skquinn
Public bug reported:

Every time I start the game, it is in an 800x600 window despite having
told it I prefer the full screen on the previous run. Further, none of
my high scores are retained after exiting and restarting.

The preferences not being saved may also affect neverputt, I have not
tested in detail.

[Bug 1569201] [NEW] gnome-shell wedges after unlock if network connection lost

2016-04-12 Thread skquinn
Public bug reported:

Sometimes my laptop loses wifi connection while the screen is locked. On
attempting to unlock, gnome-shell freezes at the unlock screen until the
network connection is restored (usually manually, by logging in on a
text console and manually killing the NetworkManager process, or
otherwise manually bringing my wifi connection back up). I have been
able to repeat this at least five times. I suspect it has to be the same
connection brought back up (i.e. merely plugging in wired or using a
different wifi network won't unwedge gnome-shell).

[Bug 889513] Re: Forced menu visibility breaks keybindings in gnome-terminal

2012-03-12 Thread skquinn
Switching to the GNOME shell instead of Unity doesn't help. I tried
this, partially to work around this bug, and partially because I just
got sick of Unity. So this isn't specific to Unity at all.

[Bug 952079] [NEW] terminal always comes up with menu bar, regardless of preference selected

2012-03-11 Thread skquinn
Public bug reported:

Just upgraded to oneiric, and now I find gnome-terminal *always* comes
up with the menu bar, even though I specifically tell it not to. I
frequently use the Alt-F and Alt-B Emacs-like shortcuts when using a
terminal, which conflicts horribly with having the menu bar up as the
menu will intercept Alt-F. With the menus turned off in profile, I
actually have to toggle the menus *twice* to get rid of them. This is
ridiculous.
