[Bug 866001] [NEW] Nautilus window decoration missing

2011-10-04 Thread slashack
Public bug reported:

Nautilus windows decoration (title bar and borders) are missing.

No matter if I reboot, change the theme, restart unity or compiz with
--replace, they don't appear.

I'm attaching a screenshot.

The only thing I can do with that window is move it with alt+mouse.

[Bug 734908] Re: panels not hiding in fullscreen

2011-03-16 Thread slashack
Screensaver is below panels too.

I'm currently presenting a pdf with pdf-presenter. The panels are
visible in fullscreen.

I went away for a while, the screen was black with both panel visibles.
I pressed a key and entered my password to unlock. Both bars were
visible. Nevertheless, when I click nothing happens untill I enter my
password. It's not a security issue, but it is anoying.

[Bug 734908] Re: panels not hiding in fullscreen

2011-03-14 Thread slashack
Tried again on another natty updated pc.

Apparently, the problem is seen when a multi screen setup is being used.

Steps to reproduce:
1) With only one display configured, open a PDF file with evince. Press F11.
Fullscreen works correctly.
2) Plug in a second display (tested with HDMI out on notebook and DVI on
desktop pc)
3) Configure twinview (both pcs have nvidia cards)
4) Open a PDF file with evince in the main display (the one that has both
panels). Press F11. Panels don't hide.

[Bug 729648] Re: Alt + F1 twice breaks autohide=never functionality

2011-03-12 Thread slashack
I can't confirm It with ALT+F1, but It happens to me randomly.

Sometimes just pressing windows key and then esc brokes the
autohide=never setting. Ohter times, moving the mouse over the menu is
enough.

Then the window stays maximized below the sidebar. If I try to click in
the sidebar, it doesn't work., it just like clicking on the desktop.

Re: [Bug 210079] Re: firefox 3 freezes at start and on menu click or typing

2008-04-11 Thread slashack
I've reinstalled hardy. I needed firefox, and i've some troubles with
compiz & firefox 2. I can't reproduce this bug now, but i can assert
there were any memory leak or high cpu usage. It just freezed.

I suppose flash and i386 libs has something to do with this bug. When
i finally got it working, it was because i've been messing arround
with libraries and flash plugin.

Nothing to do with updates, the problem just solved without updating
anything.

Re: [Bug 210079] Re: firefox 3 freezes at start and on menu click or typing

2008-04-03 Thread slashack
I've installed xubuntu 8.04 beta (x86_64). Installed some extra
libraries (GTK developing libraries, ia32) and flashplugin-nonfree.
After doing that, suddenly, when i opened firefox, it took about 2 o 3
minutes between i ran it from the terminal and the browser appeared.
This happened every time I clicked on any firefox menu or typed on any
web or textbox. The only thing i could do whithout having this freezes
was browsing with my mouse.

As i said in my last mail. When i've uninstalled ia32 and flash
plugin, firefox keep doing this. But when i've reinstalled flash
plugin, it magically started working again.

[Bug 210079] [NEW] firefox 3 freezes at start and on menu click or typing

2008-03-31 Thread slashack
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

It takes about 2 o 3 minutes to start in a Core 2 Duo with 2Gb Ram. When I
check for CPU Usage and Mem Usage, firefox is using nothing. It just freezes.
When it finally starts, I can browse with my mouse, but when i start typing or
click on menu, it freezes for about 2 minutes again.

Description:Ubuntu hardy (development branch)
Release:8.04

firefox-3.0:
  Installed: 3.0~b4+nobinonly-0ubuntu1

Also when I click on information dialgog in the taskbar (xubuntu), it
freezes, the same as firefox-3. After waiting a few minutes, it says
that firefox has been updated, and need restarting.

[Bug 207576] [NEW] no window decoration in thunderbird with compiz in hardy

2008-03-27 Thread slashack
Public bug reported:

Description:Ubuntu hardy (development branch)
Release:8.04

compiz:
  Installed: 1:0.7.2-0ubuntu2
  Candidate: 1:0.7.2-0ubuntu2
  Version table:
 *** 1:0.7.2-0ubuntu2 0
500 http://ar.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

thunderbird:
  Installed: 2.0.0.12+nobinonly-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 2.0.0.12+nobinonly-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 2.0.0.12+nobinonly-0ubuntu1 0
500 http://ar.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

The main bug is that i have no window decoration in Thunderbird in
xubuntu 8.04 beta using compiz. It just gets maximized on mi screen and
cant resize it nor move it.

If I compose an email or open any thunderbird related window, it works
fine. It's just a problem with Thunderbird's main window.

[Bug 106028] Re: Kvm not installable in feisty

2007-04-16 Thread slashack
I believe nobody is saying anything harmfull, and we all know that this
is free and volunteer-based. What I've been trying to say is something
like "This is a bug, and due to the fact that kernel freeze date was
scheduled to April 5th (!), this is an important bug". I think it isn't
fixed. The bug showed up when I wanted to install kvm-18, not kvm-16,
but kvm-18 is not available any more.

I agree with LosD. In www.ubuntu.com there's a banner saying: "Ubuntu
7.04 Beta. Simple networking, easy codecs and virtualization! Help
test". This bug's importance shouldn't be undecided. It's a feisty major
feature.

[Bug 105263] Re: [feisty] kvm depends of kvm-api-9 but that package is uninstallable

2007-04-11 Thread slashack
The problem is that when you want to install this package, there is no
such kvm-api-X package that satisfies that dependency. So it's
impossible to install kvm.
