hi i can confirm this problem too in /var/log/messages i get: Feb 11 00:02:34 lappy kernel: [17181546.964000] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth1: link is not ready I am able to do iwlist eth1 scan and it lists all the available networks, but it just doesnt connect ( the network i need to connect is wpa+tkip) wpasupplicant runs fine, its just that dhclient eth1 does not get me an ipaddress -- ipw3945 not working with 2.6.17-11-generic https://launchpad.net/bugs/84372 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
