[Bug 523883] Re: word wrap faulty: cursor jumps forward on new line

2010-04-25 Thread sonmez
I checked Kate 3.3.5 and I can reproduce the same bug there too. Here is
how to produce the bug both on both kile and kate:

Start with the following document.
"We construct higher-dimensional versions of the famous domains and show that
the
Bergman projection operators for these domains regular"

then bring the cursor to in front of the word "show" in the first line. the
cursor should be
touching the word "show". Then try to write the following
"let see if we make a mistake"

you will get:
"We construct higher-dimensional versions of the famous domains and let see
ifshow make a mistake that the
Bergman projection operators for these domains regular"

However, if the curser does not touch the word "show" then you get
"We construct higher-dimensional versions of the famous domains and let see
if we make a mistake show that the
Bergman projection operators for these domains regular"

Also, if I redo every step both programs crash at the end.

Thanks,

[Bug 207986] Re: unreadable layout

2008-04-07 Thread sonmez
If I remember it correctly I get the first portion of the data using alexandria
by searching amazon using isbn numbers. Then I imported the data into tellico,
I think. And added some more books again by searching amazon with isbn
numbers.
And that is how I got this file. Another thing is that I cannot import this
file into alexandria. So it is a strange problem.

Thanks for working on such a nice project.

[Bug 206279] Re: sftp connection on local network freezes

2008-03-25 Thread sonmez
Today I connected to my external hard drive as described before.
I was renaming some folders on the external hard drive. And around
15min later all of the sudden I cannot reach it anymore. I get the
following error:

"Couldn't display "sftp://@192.168.1.xxx/.../.
Error: DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply:
Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the
remote application did not send a reply, the message bus
security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired,
or the network connection was broken. Please select another
viewer and try again"

I don't know how to check the configuration of my server. How do I check that?
I used mythbuntu-control-centre to set up my nfs server.

[Bug 206279] [NEW] sftp connection on local network freezes

2008-03-24 Thread sonmez
Public bug reported:

I am using Nautilus on up to date Hardy.
I can connect to an external hard drive that is
connected to another computer (with Ubuntu 7.10)
through the local network using sftp @192.168.1.xxx.
However, after sometime (around 30min or so) the connection
freezes. I cannot unmount the volume.
I don't have this problem if I use the following command.
sudo mount 192.168.1.xxx:/media/ ~/extdisk

[Bug 139211] Re: lost of apps icons after using "add and remove..." of apps menu

2008-02-28 Thread sonmez
I am having a related problem I think. I noticed that when
I activate and deactivated icons from the
system->Preferences->Main Menu
I get multiple copy of the same application in .local/share/applications
folder. Also after uninstalling some of the programs I noticed that their icons
don't disappear.

I am using Hardy Linux 2.6.24.10-generic, Gnome 2.21.92

Thanks

[Bug 195915] Re: removing notification area from the panel

2008-02-27 Thread sonmez
I am having a similar problem, I think.
I installed wine long time ago but then uninstalled it. I noticed that the icon
is still
there but when I click on it, it doesn't do anything. So I removed the icon
manually by going into the main menu and deleting it. Now I reinstalled wine
but the icon doesn't appear. This also happened with other icons. If i remove
the icons manually even after reinstalling the program I cannot get the icon
back unless I create a new one manually
of course. This happened in gutsy and now I am running Hardy and still the same
problem.

Thanks

[Bug 155628] "skip all" "replace all" doesn't work.

2007-10-21 Thread sonmez
Public bug reported:

I was moving a lot of pdf files from my computer to a thumb drive which is
formatted as
fat32. Some files has the same names except that some of the characters may be
capital
in one name but not in the other. I wanted to copy a lot of files at once. But
it get
warning saying the files already exists. I clicked on "skip all" and sometimes
on "replace all"
but it still gave me the same warning. So it looks like "skip all" and "replace
all"
don't work.

I use Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy, Kernel 2.6.22-14-generic, GNOME2.20.0.

Thanks

I am having a similar problem. I sometimes lock the screen and leave the
computer running.
If I leave it like that for a long time, such as overnight, neither the mouse
nor the keyboard work.
So I have to do a hard reboot. I don't have any crash report in my
"/var/crash" directory.

I am attaching my syslog and syslog.0
