[Bug 399837] [NEW] no pictures in digikam but still in folders
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: digikam I upgraded to KDE 4.2.96 (KDE 4.3 RC2) and (maybe) in connection with that there are no foto's in Digikam but they are still physically on the hard-drive. My release of Digikam is 0.10.0 I tried: - 'Synchronize Images with Database' - to dismount and remount a collection (under Configure/Collection Settings). - to define a new database It didn't work. ** Affects: digikam (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- no pictures in digikam but still in folders https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/399837 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Personal comment on Re: [Bug 399837] Re: no pictures in digikam but still in folders
Thank you Pascal, Now it is a bug and not mine or yours stupidity (beside upgrading to a beta- release). Did you also have this problem with kstars and indi and libindi0? Hope this is fixed quickly...I sit still and wait. Paul. [Bug 95337] No startup with kernel 2.6.20.12 in Feisty
Public bug reported: I've a Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop and I'm running Feisty 7.04 With the new kernel 2.6.20.12 i'm not coming further then a list of 2 pages of the booting process. It stops with the list of SDA1, SDA2 etc... The error is repetitive. No fancy screen, just what comes in the log (I think). With the 'old-kernel' 2.6.20.9 everything works perfect in Feisty. I'm willing to do some more research, but you have to tell me what to do. (If you want to have a log you have to give me the address name of the log. If you want me to put 'traces on' you have to tell me how to do that (or where the instructions are) and what kind of traces you want. If there is a better way to interact and cooperate, let me know too. Paul. [Bug 64429] Re: xfce4-fsguard-plugin crashes when added to panel and then left-clicked
First time I use it, first time bugged. Installed it again, but filled in nautilus in label filemanager. Now it doesn't crash but gives me a directory overview of my /home partition when I click left. (I filled in /home in label mountpoint). My question: Is this a user-bug or a software-bug? -- xfce4-fsguard-plugin crashes when added to panel and then left-clicked https://launchpad.net/bugs/64429 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 88574] starting up in Gnome
Public bug reported: Looks like bug no. 80494. Probably the startup of an application. Have difficulties in starting up applications in my preferred user-interface (KDE). For ex. KTorrent runs in KDE but I cannot interact with it. If I startup Gnome my Kmail doesn't show but KTorrent runs at it should be. I tried Deluge but that crashed too often (and I know that is a Python app.) in KDE. ** Affects: python-defaults (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- starting up in Gnome https://launchpad.net/bugs/88574 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 63418] Re: CPU soft lockup during bootup
I have a Dell Inspiron 6400, all standard out of the box. The patch ipw3945.ko works for me, sofar that I don't have any trouble starting up any more. But, there is this mysterious message in the log: ...ipw3945: thermal sensor seems not working... I don't know what consequence this has. My laptop is not more then hand warm, in the tropics. Will look for some 'thermal sensors' in Synaptics. -- CPU soft lockup during bootup https://launchpad.net/bugs/63418 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
