[Bug 482105] [NEW] Document Viewer 2.24.1 keeps opening an old copy of PDF file even though the file has been overwritten
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince Whenever I open a PDF from the Internet using Document Viewer 2.24.1 this version of the file is the only one it renders even though the file on the server may have changed several times. Is this a caching problem? In browsers I can force a refresh of a page but I cannot see how to perform the corresponding function with Document Viewer. I'm using Ubuntu 8.10. [Bug 178652] Re: No access to non-default sound format profiles
I also have this problem in 8.10. I believe I have the codecs but only four of the profiles show up in the choice list. [Bug 178530] Re: hardy alpha2 PRO/Wireless 3945ABG does not work
I'm still running Feisty because it's the only Ubuntu version that will connect to wireless networks - and even then it's not working as well as it should; when I try to log onto some networks it won't connect and I have to boot into Vista (always an embarrassment for an Ubuntu advocate like me). Annoyingly, Vista's wireless connection also seems to be quicker. I tried 7.10 but no luck, and 8.04 also doesn't work. It's a shame because I'd really like to upgrade. My laptop is a Toshiba A100 with 3945ABG wireless. -- hardy alpha2 PRO/Wireless 3945ABG does not work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/178530 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 93408] Re: Nautilus: Eel Warning
I got this error on Feisty 7.04 and it has totally broken Ubuntu for me. Despite deleting more files to free up space Nautilus still reported 0 bytes disk space free, and after a reboot Ubuntu will not log in normally: after I enter my user name and password it cannot continue. I am new to Ubuntu and have had to go back to Windows to post this.
