[Bug 98648] Re: [Feisty] [regression] No XV or GLX with i810 on i915GM
Problem with 3/29 updates. I have an Acer Ferrari with ATI Mobility Radeon 7000. My video card no longer works. I tried updating xorg. No luck. I tried adding the following to the conf file; Option MonitorLayout LVDS,AUTO which has worked for the past 8 or so of my installs. No luck. Feisty does run from the command line. I have done apt-get update, apt-get install, and then apt-get upgrade. All updates / upgrades are in place. [Bug 98612] Re: Sees wireless networks but wont connect
This is my 2-cent workaround, in case you have the same problem I do. My Acer Ferrari never finds the wireless on bootup. Somehow it always looks for the last IP address rather than a new one. So, I just open the wireless icon in the top right-hand corner and re-click on the wireless network I want. When it start looking again, it usually succeeds. If not, I re-boot the modem. Instant success. -- Sees wireless networks but wont connect https://launchpad.net/bugs/98612 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
