[Bug 1258422]

2014-08-30 Thread theshowmecanuck
It is impossible to say for most people if this is a duplicate
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=299247 since the description on bug
#299247 is complete opaque and not understandable to anyone who isn't in
some inner circle.

[Bug 1258422]

2014-08-30 Thread theshowmecanuck
Multiple monitors is VERY common and this bug prevents people from
maximizing application windows which is a pain in the ass. This is a
usability issue. I'm not sure why this hasn't even been assigned.

[Bug 222280] Re: asks for password on startup says it is wrong when it it right, cancel password dialog and it receives email fine

2008-04-27 Thread theshowmecanuck
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 209385 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/209385

yes... exactly the same as bug #140460... including that it doesn't
happen if you are not on the inbox when you close... i.e. when you start
up evolution and it is not on the inbox it works fine... just noticed
this three minutes ago.

Can you please post the bug number so I can look and see whether it is
the same thing or not?

[Bug 222280] [NEW] asks for password on startup says it is wrong when it it right, cancel password dialog and it receives email fine

2008-04-25 Thread theshowmecanuck
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

When I start up evolution it asks me for a password. I enter it and it
tells me it is wrong/can't connect to the server with it, even though it
is 100% correct. I can enter it time after time and hit OK and it keeps
asking me to enter my password. If I hit cancel and send/receive
manually, it downloads email from the server and it downloads/attempt to
download email at the 5 minute time interval I ask it to check in.

Gutsy. POP3.

This is similar to another bug reported but has nothing to do with
exchange nor do they mention that it tells you that the password you
enter on startup can't be used to retrieve mail.

Deleted the .gnome2_private/Evolution file and it asked for my password
on startup (this time I did enter it), and then did the same thing:
complained it could not connect and kept asking for my password. It
then worked after cancelling the opening dialog and clicking on
send/receive.

This is amateur hour.

** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New
