Public bug reported: Kubuntu intrepid on i386 Did 'aptitude upgrade' on 081218. I noticed that some cups packages and gs got updated. Security updates I think I remember. After that I could not print anymore from e.g. OpenOffice.org and Okular and Acroread. Printing from Firefox works though. OK, I managed to reproduce what went wrong here. Just start Okular and then File -> Open -> Network -> Samba-Shares -> Crash It happens with me all the times. I got a few samba shares on a Debian Etch but not all of them are mounted. If I try to access one the described way it goes boom. Public bug reported: After upgrading from Gutsy to Hardy my nvidia 6600GT fails to load. The Ubuntu low resolution mode starts, offering to start a new configuration that fails in the end. My xorg.conf continues to work with the 2.6.24-15 kernel though which I still have to use if I want X. I attach the Xorg.log with the failure.
