Any body affected by this bug could try to compile rdesktop from latest SVN? Seems I can't connect only when Vino encryption is set to require. I gave up vinagre and came across Grdc. I think it should replace vinagre. It's now in Ubuntu universal repository already, and the web site is offering .deb download for the latest version.
