[Bug 1619096] Re: Gnome-Shell crashed and restart only once on startup

2017-02-03 Thread tista
Greetings,

I am an author of Adapta, today I've committed the fix:
https://github.com/adapta-project/adapta-gtk-
theme/commit/57b8419fcae727efd22e3c27a8409108026f8481

This happened in Xenial (Gnome-Shell 3.18.x) only. So now this issue can
be closed...

Regards.

[Bug 1563108] [NEW] [Upstream fix] multiple versioned theme support

2016-03-28 Thread tista
Public bug reported:

In upstream, this commit could help multiple versioned theme:
https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-tweak-tool/commit/?id=f47ba28fbb2c895a88d4e5ca8b89bc18475a86e9

And I've confirmed that patch works on both Gtk+ 3.18.9 and 3.20.1.
Gtk+ 3.16 or higher, we can include multiple themes in a single
/usr/share/themes/THEME_NAME directory. This feature is very useful for all of
theme designers and users.

So please cherry-pick that commit and merge into Xenial packaging... :)

Best Regards.

[Bug 851511] [NEW] [wishlists]Vim keybindings for browsing...

2011-09-15 Thread tista
Public bug reported:

Hopefully if we could browse the web via "famous editor's keybindigs", it must

Or could we get the chance to change the shortcuts for browse, bookmark,

[Bug 819144] Re: [fglrx] everything is black and blinks when using unity

2011-08-19 Thread tista
@jfoc

OK... see this thread:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1699238&page=41
and see the post around #409...

this installation issue caused fglrx's scripts. today we must use the
alternatives as "arch-specified" instead of gl_conf. so the first you should
run command:
sudo update-alternatives --remove-all gl_conf
and then you re-install fglrx, right?

finally today fglrx-8.881/catalyst-11.8 released on official site. so you could
give it a try. this current release seems to solve the installation scripts
issues:

[Bug 826331] Re: Nautilus menu hidden under the Unity panel

2011-08-16 Thread tista
so how the differences if you set "have file manager handle the desktop"
to OFF on gnome-tweak-tool? on my oneiric, this option could hide the
ugly nautilus's menubar from gnome-shell's desktop, but unfortunately
unity-3d couldn't be loaded normally...

and gtk+3.0 had now applied advanced menu_proxy patches, on
3.1.10-0ubuntu3, but if we once rollback to 0ubuntu1, the issues
solved!!

Radeon is so slow?! no...no...
did you see my PPA?:
https://launchpad.net/~tista/+archive/x120e
it has latest mesa/Gallium3D for radeon. so which version did you use?
mine works with unity, gnome-shell, wayland, mutter, compiz, and almost
everything... on the other hand, fglrx is?
Yeah absolutely damned!! X(

I think "work" is completely better than "not work" even if it didn't
run so fast, isn't it?

[Bug 818778] Re: Wrong resolution for unity interface (Intel GMA500 / EMGD drivers)

2011-08-02 Thread tista
Same issues +1 on my VAIO P.

Yeah I've experienced such ugly appearances in past only unity-3d
stuff had such "wrong resolution", scaled, blurred, ugly!

rm -rf /run/udev

[Bug 704105] Re: Resize grip always appears in bottom right of GTK+2.0 windows

2011-03-04 Thread tista
I think it doesn't matter which new theming or not... the point is that
all types of gtk window would be forced to include ugly grip. and also
transparency pixmap for grip couldn't help us at all now. why we NEVER
have the choice in grip or non-grip ???

I've also added my screenshot of gnome/compiz.
It shows running compiz without composites and window decorations looks strange.
