I have it on an up-to-date 11.04 but not with unity-shell from trunk (on
oneiric).

[Bug 782010] Re: another Firefox launcher is created when called by another app

2011-08-10 Thread toineo
Do you still have this bug ? I don't use gwibber, but I can't reproduce
it with the terminal.

Anyway, I think this should concern BAMF.

[Bug 818461] Re: Some programs can't see their own processes (read description)

2011-08-10 Thread toineo
You can also do it by opening a first file (from nautilus), then moving
the gedit window to an other workspace. After this, go back to the
previous workspace, and open another file in the nautilus window. But I
don't know if it is the required behaviour or not (it is useful if you
want to work on 2 files together : launch 2 gedit windows and snap it to
both sides).

(well, I just noticed that I can't reproduce exactly the bug you've
reported, I have to switch to another workspace to open a second window.
If I open one file from nautilus and one from the terminal in the same
workspace, they go in the same window, in tabs. (this is on oneiric,
with the lastest unity-shell))

[Bug 677594] Re: Workspace switcher useless with one workspace

2011-08-05 Thread toineo
Hi !

May I know what is the status of this bug ? I see that some related
branches were already merged, but I am affected by this bug (well, once
I switch to only one ws, the ws icon is still here... Is it the desired
behavior ?)

If the icon has to disappear , I made some really minor changes, and it
seems to work on my system (update-to-date 11.10 with unity from trunk).
The diff is attached

[Bug 677594] Re: Workspace switcher useless with one workspace

2011-08-05 Thread toineo
Ok, I will make a branch for this fix. But before the merge request, I need a
confirmation about the required behavior.
Do we want to remove the icon if we have only workspace, or rather make it
trigger the scale mode ?

(mistake in my last comment : up-to-date*)

[Bug 331111] Re: Ubiquity crashes with symbols in password

2009-03-02 Thread toineo
Ok, no problem, I'll install using debug mode in the future, and will
post here if this problem happens again (I hope it won't ^^).

It was nothing, I want to bring my (tiny) help to the community. And
thank you for answering !

[Bug 331111] Re: Ubiquity crashes with symbols in password

2009-02-27 Thread toineo
Hum, that's a problem, I tried what you said in a virtual machine (no
computer free...), with another password (containing 'my' symbols) and
it actually don't want to crash (3 times, already). I'm sorry...

What do you want, the unicode point ? In fact, it is really simple
symbol (ascii), like U+0021, U+0023, U+0028, U+002F, U+003D, U+0040,
U+005B, U+005C, U+007B, U+007E (mine are in this list). I can't
reproduce this bug on this machine, even with my own password, so I'm
really sorry but I can't give you other informations...

[Bug 331111] [NEW] Ubiquity crashes with symbols in password

2009-02-18 Thread toineo
Public bug reported:

I noticed this with my new eeePC : I was unable to install Intrepid,
Jaunty, with a livecd or liveusb. Ubiquity always crashed during
'creating user account'. I actually got symbols I my password, and I
decided to try by removing it. This way, it perfectly worked (no crash,
installation ok (and installed system to)).

So, i suppose ubiquity can't work with symbols in password. I think that i
already had this problem (i have only one password...) on other pc, because
ubiquity crashed many times in the past (but not always, allowing me to install
anyway)
This netbook is just the pc on which ubiquity never accepted password with
symbol...

I haven't any log, cause I rebooted very quickly...
And i'm sorry for my really poor/bad english, i'm french...
