[Bug 81009] Re: copy paste with wheel mouse

2008-05-03 Thread tulsoba
1) Right-click on desktop and chose: Create document-> New Document -> Empty
File.
2) Open the new file with gedit and type some text.
3) Select the text with the mouse cursor and left-click after the text.
4) Then press the middle-mouse button to paste the text.

Nothing happens when I complete step 4). It works fine in firefox and in
this message that I am currently writing.

[Bug 124856] Re: "Disk&Filesystems" module does not load after plugging in iPod

2008-03-27 Thread tulsoba
Found a temporary solution that uses the gnome-volume-manager. I have
made a script only containing the line gnome-volume-manager and put it
in:

~/.kde/Autostart

Now both my Maxtor disk and iPod are mounted on boot up. But I still get
the error in Disk & Filesystems module:

The module Disk & Filesystems could not be loaded.

The diagnostics is:

Possible Reasons:
* An error occured during your last KDE upgrade leaving an orphaned control
module
* You have old third party modules lying around

[Bug 124856] Re: "Disk&Filesystems" module does not load after plugging in iPod

2008-03-07 Thread tulsoba
I have the same problem on Kubuntu 7.10 with my 20 GB third gen iPod.
When I remove it and reboot Disk & Filesystem gives a correct overview
of my disks. Are there any solution for this, besides unplugging the
iPod?
