[Bug 782890] Re: no ping response on all hosts after upgrade

2012-03-13 Thread txapelgorri
This bug was opened because a Maverick to Natty upgrade, but the Lucid
(Server LTS) current version (3.2.0-3ubuntu4~lucid1) of BackupPC is also
affected. I see that recent versions of Ubuntu Server have more recent
version of BackupPC, and I presume that this bug is solved on that
versions, but Lucid version still remains with this bug.

[Bug 873160] Re: Software Center SEGFAULTS when attempting to start

2011-10-24 Thread txapelgorri
I was also affected by this bug. I tried to remove some HOME config/hidden
files and it works again. In my case I came from a Natty version upgrade, so
maybe some files where buggy for Software Center.
The files/dirs I moved from my home folder are:
 - .cache/
 - .compiz-1
 - .gconf/
 - .gconfd/
 - gnome2/
 - .gnome2_private/
 - .gksu.lock

I haven't done yet further analysis to know wich is the guilty one, but
it works again.

[Bug 364101] Re: network-manager-openvpn does not support all options supported by openvpn

2010-09-18 Thread txapelgorri
Hi:

After reading the last post suggesting a workaround I try to add some
keys with gconf-editor, for example "tls-remote", but didn't work witth
Karmic and network-manager-openvpn version 0.8~rc1-0ubuntu1~nm1~karmic,
installed from the PPA: http://ppa.launchpad.net/network-
manager/ppa/ubuntu

This version of Network Manager ( > 0.8 ) is supposed to accept this
kind of options with OpenVPN, as seen here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager-
openvpn/+bug/116256

Any suggestion around this issue?.

Cheers, Ibon.

[Bug 191202] Re: bluetooth doesn't found on ASUS x50m

2010-07-03 Thread txapelgorri
Hi:

I tried detecting bluetooth at Asus X50M with 10.04 (kernel 2.6.32-23-generic),
but I had no luck:
 - hciconfig (no results).
 - hcitool dev (no results).

[Bug 455544] Re: "Protocol version error" - when bandwidth throttling is enabled with the default values

2009-11-17 Thread txapelgorri
Same behavior here:
 - Ubuntu 9.04 32bits
 - Package version: 1.1+r276-0ubuntu1~ppa1~jaunty

Removing "~/.config/ubuntuone/" solves the issue.

Ibon.
