[Bug 237678] Re: Exported PDF documents cannot be opened by Adobe Reader
The problem is apparently with PDF/A setting, indeed. I see the described Adobe Acrobat error when exporting with the PDF/A option set, but everything works fine without it. I am using OOo 3.0 from the launchpad packages; I had recreated the .openoffice.org2 directory after installing OOo 3.0 All the best, Ulf Description:Ubuntu 8.10 Release:8.10 openoffice.org: Installed: 1:3.0.0-6ubuntu0intrepid1 Candidate: 1:3.0.0-6ubuntu0intrepid1 Version table: *** 1:3.0.0-6ubuntu0intrepid1 0 500 http://ppa.launchpad.net intrepid/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1:2.4.1-11ubuntu2.1 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com intrepid-updates/main Packages 500 http://security.ubuntu.com intrepid-security/main Packages 1:2.4.1-11ubuntu2 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com intrepid/main Packages -- Exported PDF documents cannot be opened by Adobe Reader https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/237678 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 255622] [NEW] gnash shows Flora brasiliensis web presentation incorrectly in epiphany and firefox
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mozilla-plugin-gnash The site http://florabrasiliensis.cria.org.br provides a digitalized version of the volumes of the Flora brasiliensis (historical scientific work about plants from Brazil) by means of a flash application freely accessible via WWW, e.g. http://florabrasiliensis.cria.org.br/search?taxon_id=3032 Click on the small leaf or text icon to the right of the plant name; now, a maximized window opens that shows the respective page(s) of the book. Unfortunately, gnash displays the main page image on the center pane of the window only at a very small size on my 1400×1050 pixel display, not using all available space; with the Adobe Flash plugin (on i386), the pages of the book are scaled to the height of the window. The slide show feature doesn't work, either. amd64 Description:Ubuntu 8.04.1 Release:8.04 mozilla-plugin-gnash: Installed: 0.8.2-0ubuntu3 Candidate: 0.8.2-0ubuntu3 Version table: *** 0.8.2-0ubuntu3 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status epiphany-browser: Installed: 2.22.2-0ubuntu0.8.04.5 Candidate: 2.22.2-0ubuntu0.8.04.5 Version table: *** 2.22.2-0ubuntu0.8.04.5 0 500 http://security.ubuntu.com hardy-security/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 2.22.2-0ubuntu0.8.04.4 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com hardy-updates/main Packages 2.22.1.1-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages firefox: Installed: 3.0.1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.3 Candidate: 3.0.1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.3 Version table: *** 3.0.1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.3 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com hardy-updates/main Packages 500 http://security.ubuntu.com hardy-security/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 3.0~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages ** Affects: gnash (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Summary changed: - gnash doesn't show Flora brasiliensis web presentation incorrectly in epiphany and firefox + gnash shows Flora brasiliensis web presentation incorrectly in epiphany and firefox ** Description changed: Binary package hint: mozilla-plugin-gnash The site http://florabrasiliensis.cria.org.br provides a digitalized version of the volumes of the Flora brasiliensis (historical scientific work about plants from Brazil) by means of a flash - application freely accesible via WWW, e.g. + application freely accessible via WWW, e.g. http://florabrasiliensis.cria.org.br/search?taxon_id=3032 Click on the small leaf or text icon to the right of the plant name; now, a maximized window opens that shows the respective page(s) of the book.
