[Bug 586499] [NEW] Making a search in evolution keep search keywords even after reboot

2010-05-27 Thread winniemiel05
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

When I search a mail in evolution, I enter keywords to filter my search. The
problem is that if I don't suppress this words manually, they kept "saved" even
if I close evolution or reboot the computer. And next time I open evolution, it
shows me only which correspond to my previous search, until I remender I have
to suppress the old keywords.
This is not a big problem, but I think it can be proposed as a papercut for
maverick, because we don't think about search cases when we don't see our mails!

[Bug 585157] [NEW] Very very very slow file synchronization

2010-05-24 Thread winniemiel05
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

HY, I'd a problem with file synchronization. Some of my user designated folders
were on the web UI, but were not shown as synchronized in nautilus, so I wasn't
able to stop their synchronization (I posted a suggestion about it here :
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntuone-servers/+bug/556405). More of that, my
synchronization was very slow. so I removed all the ~/.cache/ubuntuone and
~/.local/ubuntuone content. Now, the folders are shown as synchronized in
nautilus, so I can stop their synchronization. But I started the "new" synchro
à 13:00, and at 00:00 The synchronization isn't finishedBut i have
juste 80mio to synchronize!
This is not due to my Internet connection, which is very fast( almost 30 mib/s,
when I download a file with a web browser, it's 3 Mio/s, so it's fast!). When I
watch the ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log/syncdaemon.log file, it continue to be
completed since13:00, it don't seems to be any errors, but a line every 30
seconds. I attach it as it is à 23:44 in this report.

[Bug 577488] [NEW] Open Office Full screen presentation conflict with Gnome Panel

2010-05-08 Thread winniemiel05
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

When I display a presentation in full screen with open office, the full screen
isn't really full:
The Panel is still there. I just use the Top panel, I replaced the other by
docky.
The display begin just under the panel, and finish after the end of the
screen...(scuse me, I don't speak a very good English). I put a picture to
show what happened: You can see the panel on the top of the screen, and the the
fact that the presentation isn't complete at the bottom.)
This seems me important, because it really don't show Ubuntu serious, if you
have any important presentation to do, even if the problem doesn't happen if we
choose the panel to auto hide

[Bug 546329] [NEW] Impossible to synchronize contact using ubuntu one

2010-03-24 Thread winniemiel05
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution-couchdb

Evolution don't wan't to synchronize contacts. I'm using Lucid. According this
page, When I open evolution, it should show me an authorization window, thing
it don't do.
It seems to be the same problem with Bookmarks, when I tried it, so I think the
problem come from couchdb, because files and notes works them (except user

2010-03-23 Thread winniemiel05
It seems that sometimes it works, but no logic on it. He synchronized folders
he shouldn't, some nautilus says it do, somes nautilus says it doesn't.
When I ask to synchronize, it worked one time, but after some reboots. And it
shows it on the web UI, but not in nautilus. There is absolutely no logic as I
said

2010-03-23 Thread winniemiel05
In fact folders I want to synchronisze are named i3, Réseaux, and Télécoms.
So i tried to rename them into Reseau, and Telecoms but nothing changed.
I discovered that a file I synchronized few days ago (named informatique), on
which I stopped synchronization by right click in Nautilus, change the status
in the Nautilus menu ( Now it propose me to synchronize, not to stop
synchronize), but the folder is still synchronizing.

[Bug 543253] [NEW] me-menu can't put my status on invisible

2010-03-21 Thread winniemiel05
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: indicator-session

I think everything is in the title.
When I use the me-menu to change my empathy status, it's impossible to put it
on invisible. every other status works fine, but if I choose invisible, it put
me on occupé (in french, maybe be occuped or busy in english). This happen
every time, no matter my old status, changing for invisble put me ALWAYS on
Occupé.
If I change my status from empathy, changing my status to invisible seems to
work, but me menu say I'm "occupé"

[Bug 540380] [NEW] Changing volume is not linear

2010-03-17 Thread winniemiel05
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: indicator-sound

When I change the volume ( increasing or reducing, using keyboard or applet),
there is an issue. sound increase very speed from 0 to almost 1cm on the bar.
then during for cm, moving the cursor, or using the keyboard, the volume don't
change in any sense. then, on the last centimeter on the bar, it works again.
This bug happen with all my sessions, but not when I'm using Gnome shell.

It make me crazy, because there is a very big difference between 0 and
just after ( volume increase a lot), impossible to be between it.

[Bug 535027] [NEW] X bug during boot ==> Ctrl+Alt+F1==>Ctrl+Alt+F7

2010-03-09 Thread winniemiel05
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

I think the package linked to this bug is xorg, but I'm not sure.

During some boots ( no logical reasons why only some of them), I'va a black
screen(sometime some text), instead of plymouth, then gdm.
The only way I found to escape this was to press Ctrl+Alt+F1, then Ctrl+Alt+F7.
This happen with Lucid 64 bits, with ubuntu drivers ( I can't install
propiretary drivers), but it happened too on Karmic with proprietary drivers.

2010-01-08 Thread winniemiel05
And that a screenshot of the software center, which use the headist style
instead of progress bar style. It's the same proble, with all theme, including
default theme.
Fro example, if I use the default ubuntu theme, the software center's progress
bar will use headlist style from ubuntu default theme, instead of progress bar
normal style ( which brown striped) .

PS, I'm sorry, I wasn't able to post every attachement in the same comment.

[Bug 504453] [NEW] Design bug in the Software Center

2010-01-07 Thread winniemiel05
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: software-center

I discovered a little bug, maybe more a mistake, in the Design.
It's the progress bar, when you intall an application, it didn't use the normal
design of scrollbars, but the style of head list. ( in the defaut theme, it's
gray instead of brow, it's not a big problem, but in the other themes, it can
make the bar invisible!
If this is really a bug ( or a simple mistake), i don't think it's an
emergency, but a perfect papercut!

[Bug 453940] Re: Ubuntu One does not detect new files in folder

2009-12-10 Thread winniemiel05
I seems to have the same bug, but some time he detect new folder/files
in Ubuntu One folder, some time he didn't. When it detect, it not update
all files, ( almost one on two didn't update, even if the applet said me
it did.) So I must verify every time I put some thing by nautilus in
Ubuntu One that it is updated, by going on the web interface, else I
must remove and reput the file(s)/folder(s). More of that, on the web
interface, it's shown I use 6 MB, but I use more than 15 MB.

[Bug 446278] [NEW] gdmsetup (and so gdm) don't show every user

2009-10-08 Thread winniemiel05
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdm

I use ubuntu karmic Beta (french version, I updated from ubuntu 9.04, i386).
Gdm don't show the complete users list, user number 1000 is not shown, neither
in gdmsetup.
users 1001 dan 1002 are shown them. users 1000 and 1001 are both
administrators, 1002 is a simple Desktop user.

It's not very important if you now what to do instead: Even if user 1000 is not
shown in the list I can use it if at connection I choose others and type the
name and password.

The package version of gdm is 2.28.0-0ubuntu14
