[Bug 1011509] [NEW] can't login via ssh
Public bug reported: I installed a fresh ubuntu 12.04 desktop with raid0 disks (so I installed postfix - I've read this could be a problem). [Bug 874451] Re: Desktop, backround is grey
Sorry that I cannot show anything, as my system is absolutely new Ozelot know, and everything else seems to be washed away for that matter. I have to guess it was because I left the update unatended and therefore no GNU or KD? INSTALLED OR SO. When got to a browser through the folders, rightclicking somewhere there and opening other options to open something, I grabed a CD_Version of Ozelot from ubuntuusers and booted from that cd once it was done. The boot said that it wouldn`t take long if I had some Ubuntu beforehand and I hoped it would simply add up to the imcomplete one, with stuff still from my old desktop on it, but when the computername was asked and I got it wrong, sometime after the boot it said, that there wasn`t any stuff to add up to. I simply missed to park my valuable stuff at the ubuntu one cloud. With that, everything would still be there, but now I am so fresh so clean :) , I still love it. P.S : The updatemanager popped up when I inserted the fresh burned live- CD, and I did a refresh for that matter, restarted on and on, but it didn`t do anything. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/874451 Title: Desktop, backround is grey To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/874451/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 874451] Re: Desktop, backround is grey
Oh; hi and thank you very much: i made some mistakes though anyway ...so thing is done I am on the newest version empty, but lucky. One thing, I dunno if it was for a false computername that the updater didn`t just click into the incomplete update but did it all again instead. thx again, cu rom merci au revoir -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/874451 Title: Desktop, backround is grey To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/874451/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 874451] [NEW] Desktop, backround is grey
Public bug reported: There is no browser nor any other options except the systemfolders, and the itemns that are on the desktop. No left or right panels, nothing. On reeboot, I went through, there were one or more fails, think one connected to graphics or so. I got updare from Meerkat to newest yesterday night and took it, left comp. on to make it happen. Thanks to the Maverik DD I found a way to go onine to here. Bug maybe that I missed the opportunity to enable all updates but left on only update from and for Linux stuff!? What me do?
