[Bug 362203] Re: Skype high CPU use on 9.04 using pulse (and audio recording/sending delay >5sec)
Same here. Just updated everything. 9.04 with Skype 2.0.0.72 using pulse. My computer is AMD Phenom x4 with an wireless card. I thought it might be because of the wireless, but all the laptops are working just fine and I used the same wireless card on an older machine and it worked just fine. I think it's something with the 64 bits. -- Skype high CPU use on 9.04 using pulse (and audio recording/sending delay >5sec) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/362203 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 362373] Re: Sound recorder does not work in Samsung NC10 on Jaunty
@TechnoCat - it did for me too, but there is a lot of cracking noise when I record. You can't use Skype with that solution. -- Sound recorder does not work in Samsung NC10 on Jaunty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/362373 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 340014] Re: Samsung NC10 fails suspend/Resume tests
I'm getting the same errors with Easy Peasy 1.0 which is based on 8.10, so that bug is nothing new. Sometimes the wireless works and sometimes it doesn't after resume. I need to restart the system to get it back on. Very annoying! -- Samsung NC10 fails suspend/Resume tests https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/340014 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 347851] [NEW] The new 1.0.19 ALSA driver cause scratchy noises on my mic
Public bug reported: I use a Samsung NC10 with Ubuntu 8.04. It has a problem with it's internal mic, so I followed the instructions here: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+question/65078 and installed the new ALSA driver 1.0.19. After playing arround with the sound settings, I got the internal mic to work, but there were two problems: 1. background noise on the mic that was not related to any noises in my surroundings 2. the recorded sound had scratches and stopped for half a second every few seconds. The last problem persisted even when I plugged in an external mic and a bluetooth headset. I tested with an audio recording program and the Skype testing service and in both cases the sound that was recorded from my computer was scratchy and noisy. That's why I guess that the problem is not in the mic, but rather in the inner workings of the driver. ** Affects: alsa-driver (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- The new 1.0.19 ALSA driver cause scratchy noises on my mic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/347851 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
