None of these have any affect. I have tried Linux 3.4 with no improvement. I also have applied most of the fixes in http://help.ubuntu.com/community/Asus_U36SD . A while back running Ubuntu 11.10 I tried debugging resuming/suspending and as far as I can remember there were nothing relevant that I could find out. It just didn't manage to boot up.
