Any reason not to go for an SRU for this since? I have run the new wsjt 9.3 under 12.04 successfully, the existing package wsjt 5.9 does not work, so, yes, I think that 12.04 12.10 should be updated with the new packages. Are these SRU something that I need to initiate? If so, how? https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates#Procedure is the procedure for an SRU; however, hmm. The SRUs are normally just patch fixes rather than whole new package versions; also look at the 'When' section on that page; If it's completely dead (as I read it from the bug) and it's previously worked then it obviously fits under the 'serious regression' clause of 'when'. Might be best to ask someone on the SRU team what they reckon. Thanks for reporting this bug. The problem has been fixed by wsjt version 9.3.r2792+dfsg-1 in Ubuntu Raring (13.04).
