1) Ubuntu 12.10 Alpha3 i386 (Live USB stick)
2) X.Org X Server 1.12.1.902 (1.12.2 RC 2) Graphics card ATI Radeon 9800
3) I expected not to have the screen corruption after the Ubuntu boot splash.
4) After the boot splash screen corruption of alternating white and black
horizantal line covered the display area. Then some of the screen cleared in
small boxed sections on both the left and right side of the display area. The
final phase is then a gray screen clear of screen corruption with the "Try
Ubuntu" option on it.
