Sorry, but I can not follow your instructions anymore. The problem presists with partitioned HDD only (3 or more partitions). I overcame that by removing of all the partitions and using entire HDD. It affects not only licid live cd/usb, but also later editions as well. Thank you for the fast response. I tried to boot from ubuntu 10.04 live usb created from ubuntu 10.04. Result the same (see attached screenshot), so I suspect, the problem comes from Ubuntu.
