Week 36 - Same issue observed on ubuntu 12.04 precise with ppa:unity- team/sru When tested on 3 machines with same ubuntu 12.04 but different GPU, the results vary. Radeon and Nvidia machines showed the above problem but test case was ok on Intel machine. Week 33 - Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal with ppa:timo-jyrinki/prerelease Same issue observed. @Omer - Yes, the window in its restored state (not maximized) definitely covers more than 20% of the screen area with a resolution of 800x600. I tested it on 3 machines with 12.10 with ppa:timo-jyrinki/prerelease, all 3 failed to open the window in maximized state, window is opened covering almost full screen area but not maximized. When I conducted the same test again on these 3 machines, only 1 still showed the same issue and the other 2 were working fine (window was opening in maximized state). This issue is not reproduce able here. I tested it on a netbook with 1024*600 resolutions. @Nice testhouse, the 20 threshold means that if the window in its non- maximized state covers the 20% of the screen area on a screen of resolution 1024*600 and below it should open maximized.
